Automotive Purchase Manager- Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • ⁠Lead and manage the purchasing team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies for purchasing used cars directly from customers.
  • ⁠Negotiate with customers to secure the best prices and terms for used vehicles.
  • Oversee the entire purchasing process, from initial contact to final transaction closure.
  • Monitor market trends and vehicle prices to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • ⁠Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to vehicle purchasing.
  • ⁠Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of inventory and operations.
  • Analyze purchasing data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Handle high-level negotiations and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.

Requirements

  • ⁠Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive purchasing or a related role.
  • ⁠Proven track record of successful negotiations and deal closures in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • ⁠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • ⁠Knowledge of the Dubai automotive market and regulations is highly preferred.
